Naiyla Durand

Naiyla Durand, Nai, is a 3rd-year Environmental Science and Chinese Language Dual Major at the University of Florida. Naiyla is from Miami and represents the beautiful island of Dominica. Naiyla currently serves on the Special Events committee; helping to orchestrate some amazing events for the BSLS chapter to participate in. Naiyla also serves as the Membership Committee Chair for the University of Florida Chapter of BSLS. Naiyla is quite involved on campus with her contributions to the Gator Chapter of the NAACP, Black Student Union, Black Queer Table, and of course the Big Sister Little Sister Mentoring Program. Outside of school, Naiyla loves to learn languages and stay fit by doing CrossFit and dancing.
